Privacy Policy
Marble Race Builder does not collect, store or share any personal information. It has no ads, no accounts and no analytics, and it never contacts our servers. Everything you build stays with you: if your device is signed in to iCloud, Apple keeps your tracks and progress in your own iCloud account so they show up on your other Apple devices. We never see it. Videos are saved to your Photos only when a grown-up chooses to, and the app cannot see your photo library.
Made for children
Marble Race Builder is made for children ages 6 to 8 and is listed in the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects nothing, there is nothing for a parent to review, correct or delete with us.
What the app does not do
- No advertising of any kind, and no third-party advertising or analytics code.
- No tracking, no advertising identifier (IDFA) and no device identifiers.
- No accounts, sign-in, chat or messaging. Nothing a child types is ever sent to us.
- No network connections of its own: the app works fully offline and does not contact our servers or anyone else's. (iCloud sync is done by Apple's system, into your own iCloud account.)
- No location, camera, microphone or contacts access.
- No links out of the app in the child's part of the app.
Where your things are kept
Tracks, progress, stars, stickers and settings (such as sound and voice) are stored inside the app on the device. If the device is signed in to iCloud, the tracks and progress are also kept in Apple's iCloud storage for your own Apple Account, so the same child finds them on your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. That copy is held by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; it is never sent to us and we cannot read it. Settings stay on each device. A track deleted in the app is deleted on every device, and "Reset progress" in the grown-ups area resets every device. If you use device backups, Apple may include the app's data in your backup. Deleting the app deletes the copy on that device.
Grown-up features
Some features sit behind a grown-ups check (a multiplication spelled out in words) so a child cannot reach them alone:
- Saving a race video. The app asks for add-only Photos access. It can add a video to the library but can never read or see your photos.
- Sharing a track. A track can be handed to the iPhone or iPad share sheet as a file or a QR code. The app never sends anything itself; you choose where it goes, and that service's own privacy policy applies.
- Rating the app. Apple's standard rating prompt may appear when a grown-up leaves the grown-ups area. It is run by Apple, and nothing in the child's part of the app asks for a rating.
Purchases
The app has no in-app purchases today. If any are added later, payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see payment details, and purchases would sit behind the grown-ups check.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date before the change takes effect in the app. We will not start collecting data without updating this policy and the app's App Store privacy label first.
